Michelle is a Los Angeles-based Interior Designer with nearly 20 years of experience in Creative Office, Corporate, Hospitality, and High-End Residential design.

 
 

On the Commercial side, she has worked on projects ranging in size from less than 4,000 SF to over 250,000 SF, in all phases of design from Concept through Construction Administration and Furniture Installation. Her clients appreciate her clear communication, receptiveness and attention to detail.

As a Senior Designer and Associate at HLW, Michelle was the design lead on several notable projects over the years, including but not limited to Aercap, Google, Time Inc. (now Meredith Corp.), Starz, Figs, and multiple locations of Comcast Ventures, while leading and mentoring the design team on her projects.

More recently, Michelle made a shift to high-end residential design

 
 
 

These projects are often multi-building estate-sized projects with a Main House, Guest House, Pool House, and one project even includes a Helicopter Hanger and a “Tommy Bahama” beachside lounge building. She has worked on projects locally across Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Montecito, Orange County, and the Caribbean island of St. Martin.

 
 

At Studio William Hefner, Michelle’s focus is interior architecture. She is tasked with growing and leading the new Interior Architecture studio, which collaborates cross-studio on exciting projects that require an astute attention to detail with intricate interior construction detailing. Her role involves coordinating with William and the Partners managing the projects, meeting with and presenting to clients, full-service work from concept through constuction administration, occasional project management, working on the full set of construction documents along with the architectural team, and overseeing the work of junior and intermediate designers working under her direction.
