Union Bank Plaza Lobby
Los Angeles, California
12,000 SF
*This project has not yet been professionally photographed
The lobby at Union Bank Plaza is part of Phase One of the $20 Million renovation currently underway. The property owner asked for a timeless and sophisticated design that would remain in style for decades. The building itself is a midcentury icon, and so it was an obvious move to take inspiration from midcentury design while keeping it fresh and current.
Before Photos
The lobby hadn’t been renovated in over 20 years, with maple wood clad walls, granite floors, elliptic-shaped stone-wrapped columns and stainless steel accents.

Promotional Video
This video was created by Kilograph for the property owner, KBS. Animations of two of the three spaces I designed are featured in this video: the building lobby and the coral tree plaza.
Scouting Photos
3D Renderings
The client signed off on the design after these renderings were presented to them. And as is evident in the above scouting photos, the final design is nearly identical, with some minor adjustments made along the way, as requested by the client and/or as dictated by existing building conditions.
